Commercial Pilot License (FAA/Canada)

PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE (FAA/CANADA)

Earning a Private Pilot License is the first step in any aviation career. The PPL permits the holder to pilot a single-engine aircraft privately (not for pay). Whether for personal or professional purposes, earning your PPL will start you down your desired aviation pathway.

Minimum requirements to obtain a Private Pilot License are:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language fluently.
  • Obtain at least a third class medical certificate from an Aviation Medical Examiner
  • Pass a computerized aeronautical knowledge test
  • Accumulate and log a specified amount of training and experience
  • Pass an oral test and flight test administered by an FAA inspector or designated examiner

INSTRUMENT RATING (FAA/CANADA)

An Instrument Rating is required for a pilot to fly under Instrument flight rules (IFR). Under these conditions the pilot is unable to use external visual references for navigation and flies the aircraft solely based on the instruments in the cockpit. This rating is also a requirement for employment as a professional pilot and is a prerequisite for the Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).

  • Be at least 16 years of age

COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE (FAA/CANADA)

The Commercial Pilot License allows you to fly an aircraft for compensation or hire. This is also the minimum license requirement for employment as a pilot or become a flight instructor. Commercial pilots can also be paid for certain types of operations, such as banner towing, agricultural applications, and photography

Minimum requirements to obtain a Commercial Pilot License are:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language fluently.
  • Hold a Private Pilot License.
  • Obtain at least a second class medical certificate from an Aviation Medical Examiner
  • Pass a computerized aeronautical knowledge test
  • Accumulate and log a specified amount of training and experience
  • Pass an oral test and flight test administered by an FAA inspector or designated examiner

Module-1:Ground Class in India(Duration- 2 months)

Module-2:Flight Training in USA/Canada(Duration-12 Months)

Module-3:CPL Conversion(Duration- 4 months)

**NOTE**: Module-2 & 3 duration depends on various Factors

Commercial Pilot License (DGCA)

Theory Course:

Subjects to be cleared:

  1. Air Navigation
  2. Aviation Meteorology,
  3. Air Regulation
  4. Aircraft Technical General
  5. Aircraft Technical Specific (Single Engine & Multi Engine)
  6. Radio Telephony Restricted(RTR-A)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:-

  • Minimum Age: 18 years    Maximum Age: 35 years
  • 10+2 with Maths and Physics or Higher Education**
  • Medical Class-2 Followed by Class-1
  • Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language

 Duration- 1.5 to 2 years including Flight Training in India (Depends on Student)

CPL Conversion (Foreign to DGCA)

Theory Course

Prepares for DGCA conversion Exams

  1. Paper 1 – Composite Paper (Air navigation & Air Meteorology
  2. Paper 2 – Air Regulation
  3. RTR(A,C,P)

Duration- 2-3 months (Depends on Student)

Airbus 320 Ground class (Pre/Post Type)

Ground class will cover:

  • Systems
  • Normal and abnormal procedure
  • FCTM,QRH & FCTM
  • Question Bank solving
